Hello there, my name is Jade. At least that is what the crate said that I was abandoned in at the front door of the SPCA. When the ACSPCA staff showed up for work they found me running around, outside the shelter scared out of my mind, wondering where my Mommy went. How could she have just dumped me at the front door of the SPCA in a crate??? I escaped from the crate and luckily I was not hit by a car at the busy intersection at the SPCA. I was trying to find the road that my Mommy took home. At this point I had just about given up hope that I would find my Mommy ... and it breaks my heart that she hasn't come back. I can't get that day out of my mind ... I wanted to find my Mommy soo bad, I am very sad. The staff has told me that they know I will find a much better Mommy real soon, one that would never abandon me!

No nametag, no microchip ... how is the staff supposed to find my family??? Hi there, my name is Duke. I am a 2 year old, neutered male Bully breed. I was found by some people and they kept me for two weeks. However, evidently me and the Doberman were having issues at feeding time, so they brought me here. It really bummed me out, gosh I feel like no one wants me. I am a very laid back, mellow guy ... I want to feel like SOMEONE wants me, to be a part of the family. I'm pretty handsome .. right??? I'm hoping my chances of finding a home will be good since there are not many dogs here right now, but that could change at the drop of a hat. So come on by real soon and meet me!!!!

Hey guys, Guess who??? It's me Licorice. Doggon it ... I had finally found a new home after being here for over 8 months and it just didn't work out. The bottom line is .... I didn't want to share the love!! Can you blame me?? I have lived my whole life chained up outside with no attention whatsoever, then lived in the shelter for 8 months and doggon it ... I wanted all of the attention. I will happily wait again to find a new family. My story is kind of interesting ... you see, I was brought in as a stray with another dog. But the staff here know that I have lived my whole life chained up outside to a doghouse because they have passed us on their way to and from work for a year or so. Amazing, as soon as we were brought in as strays the dog houses disappeared. The day we were found as "Strays" was our lucky day! I am a spayed female Pit bull and I am about 1 - 2 years old and I am one big lovebug. I am just soaking up all of the belly rubs and the attention because I have been deprived of these luxuries my whole life!!

Picked up running down Rt 15 ... that's how I got here. The staff told me how dangerous that was and they were glad that I am here safe. Gosh that really made me feel good that they care about me, that's a first. Obviously my family didn't even care enough about me to come and get me. Hello there, my name is Homer. I am a male mix breed, the staff is guessing about 2 years old and just neutered. But only I know my real age and I'm not one of those that don't want to tell you my age ... problem is I can't speak. Well maybe for a treat or two I could speak Hee Hee!!! There sure are a lot of dogs here and we all need to find new homes. I wish I could just wiggle my nose like Bewitched and we would all be sitting in our new homes. But I guess that is only TV, so I am going to just have to wait till someone falls in love with me ... try not to keep me waiting too long!!!!

Hello there ... my name is Fouse, can't complain, I've had a good life. I lived with a kind old man, who loved me until he passed away. Staying in his pack, I went to live with his daughter, together we both missed and mourned our Dad. Unfortunately a member of the family did not take a shining to me, even with my kind personality. I was kicked, and thrown out the door only to find myself staring at a hole in the yard that she had dug for me. So my Mommy decided it was safer for me to go out and find a new family ... although it broke her heart to do this. So here I am at the SPCA. I am living the high life and getting attention, treats and the care that can only come from such wonderful staff. I even got neutered. I have the Penthouse Suite up in the Managers office. Although this luxury treatment is great ... I would much prefer to settle down with a nice family to share my stories and all of the love that I have to give.
